Pusio Privacy Policy

All data you input into Pusio remains stored exclusively on your personal device, and is never sent to our systems:

• Appliance information you save: brand, model, purchase date, price, warranty length, serial number (if provided)
• Media files you upload: receipt photos, maintenance log images
• Reminder preferences, custom tags, and maintenance timeline entries you create
• Search and filter queries you run within the app are processed locally on your device, and are never transmitted externally

The only scenario where we receive information from you is if you voluntarily contact our support team via email: we will only collect the content you choose to share (including your email address) solely to respond to your inquiry. This contact information is never used for marketing purposes, nor shared with third parties.

Since we do not have access to any of your locally stored data, we cannot use, share or monetize your personal information in any way:

• All app functionality (including warranty progress calculation, search, filtering, and local reminders) runs entirely on your device, with no external data processing required
• We do not track your app usage, run targeted advertising, or build user profiles
• We never sell, rent, or share any of your information to third parties for any purpose

You retain full ownership and control over all data you save in Pusio:

• You can edit, delete, or export any of your stored appliance records and media files at any time directly within the app
• Uninstalling the Pusio app from your device will permanently erase all data stored by the app on your device
• If you choose to use your device operating system’s cloud backup service (e.g. system-level backup to your personal cloud storage account), your Pusio data may be included in those backups per your operating system provider’s policies, which we do not control

The security of your data is dependent on your device’s security settings. We recommend you enable device-level security (e.g. passcode, biometric authentication) and keep your operating system updated to protect your locally stored information.

Since we do not store your data on our servers, we cannot access or recover your data if you lose your device or delete the app, unless you have created a backup via your device’s operating system features.
